What is a peptide stack?

A "stack" is any combination of two or more peptides used together, whether sold as a single pre-blended vial, a multi-vial kit, or a set of separate products used concurrently. In the research-peptide and clinic markets, stacks are defined entirely by vendor or clinic marketing, not by any regulatory or pharmacopoeial standard.

No named stack has been studied in a published controlled trial as a combination. The entire rationale for any stack is mechanistic extrapolation from separate component studies. This is a central limitation, not a gap to be filled by inference.

These stacks centre on BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and KPV in various combinations. They are marketed primarily for soft-tissue repair, join/recovery, and connective-tissue maintenance. No combination has published controlled human evidence.

Critical identity ambiguity: most listings use "CJC-1295" to mean Modified GRF 1-29 (no DAC), which is a different substance from the CJC-1295 DAC conjugate that has published human pharmacology data.

Sex-specific considerations

No named stack has been studied for sex-specific effects. The following are notes on biological plausibility of individual components as understood from separate and clinical literature, not recommendations.

Stacks marketed primarily toward male demographics (based on common marketing patterns, not clinical data):

  • Wolverine, Wolverine Plus, GLOW, KLOW — marketed for athletic recovery and tissue repair, domains where marketing historically skews male. The components have no established sex-specific safety or efficacy profile.

  • CJC-1295 + GHRP-2/6 — GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 elevate prolactin, which produces different biological effects in females (relevant to menstrual and reproductive physiology) than in males. No sex-stratified safety data exist for these pairings.

Stacks marketed toward both sexes:

  • Semax + Selank — cognitive blends are marketed without strong sex targeting.

  • Semaglutide + Cagrilintide, Retatrutide + Cagrilintide — weight-management products marketed broadly. No sex-stratified combination data.

  • Tesamorelin + Ipamorelin, Sermorelin + Ipamorelin — marketed for body composition without sex targeting in observed listings. No sex-stratified combination data.

Key caveat: The CJC-1295 DAC pharmacology trials included both women and men. The ipamorelin PK/PD study included only healthy men; the phase 2 postoperative-ileus trial included bowel-resection patients of both sexes. These are descriptive study-population notes, not evidence of sex-specific safety or efficacy for any blend.

GH-axis components and sex hormone interactions: GH secretagogues (ipamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6) and GHRH analogues may interact with oestrogen and testosterone signalling at the hypothalamic-pituitary level. No blend-specific interaction data exist.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and reproductive planning: No named blend has safety data in pregnancy, lactation, or for fertility in either sex.   • Individual component risks: Each peptide carries its own known and unknown risks from separate studies (e.g., BPC-157 angiogenesis concerns, GHRP-2 prolactin/cortisol elevation, Melanotan II nevus changes). Those risks do not predict combination toxicology.

  • Identity ambiguity: Market names do not reliably identify the exact substance, salt form, acetylation state, fragment length, or molar ratio. "CJC-1295" may mean Modified GRF 1-29 or the DAC conjugate. "TB-500" may mean full-length Tβ4 or a short fragment. Semax/Selank listings may use parent or acetylated forms interchangeably.

  • Fixed-ratio limitation: Pre-blended vials prevent independent dose adjustment and complicate attribution of any unexpected effect.

  • Product quality: Products are unregulated "research use only" material. Purity, sterility, identity, and co-formulation stability are not independently verified by seller pages. Vendor-supplied certificates of analysis are select-sample reports with method and custody limits.

  • status: Many components are prohibited in sport (BPC-157 under , TB-500 and GH analogues under ). Sport status is an independent axis and must be assessed by exact substance, not by market name.
